Want to own Marilyn Monroe, a Hollywood auction wedding ring? It can be yours for a small fortune. It’s expected to be a big seller at auction later this year for all the Monroe and vintage jewellery fans out there. Her wedding ring is a beautiful full set diamond eternity ring with 35 baguette shaped diamonds. The ring comes from Marilyn’s second marriage to Jo DiMaggio, New York Yankees baseball player in 1954 at City Hall in San Francisco, California and will be on auction in Los Angeles in December this year. Marilyn’s famous white subway dress from the film Seven Year Itch, remembered in the scene where the dress is blowing up and Marilyn tries to hold it down, that sold for an amazing 3.6 Million at auction, so the ring is epected to be a high sale. Marilyn’s previous wedding ring from her first marriage to James Edward Dougherty, featured at Christies in 1999 sold for nearly £518, 000. The wedding ring will be in an auction alongside other jewells and items that represent icons of Hollywood. Althought the ring has a diamond baguette missing, it is still expected to be a top seller in the Icons of Hollywood auction.
