A customer wanted us to design a new engagement ring setting to re-mount a round brilliant cut diamond weighing 1.25 carats into rose gold with diamonds set on the shoulders of the band. Working with our jewellery designer the customer browse through our online collection of shoulder set diamond engagement ring settings to hold the dazzling round brilliant cut diamond. 
The customer wanted the engagement ring to be slightly bulky incorporating a modern Lucida style setting where the claws on each side of the shank cross over to hold the diamond in place. To fully support the diamond there is a supportive underbezel holding the design of the ring together. To create a bulky look for the engagement ring our designer mounted the diamond on a thick flat-shaped band and to enhance the customers round brilliant cut diamond we channel set ten princess cut diamonds on the shoulders of the band update `wp_posts` set `post_content` = five on each side)
