A few weeks ago we finished creating this stunning pavé set diamond wedding ring for a customer. The ring was designed to fit and accompany the style of their engagement ring, which also features pavé set diamonds on the shoulders of the band. We created the ring in 18ct white gold and set the small round brilliant cut diamonds onto a D-shaped band. In total there is four rows of very small round brilliant cut diamonds set half way around the band. A pavé setting is where an area of metal is set with lots of small gem stones that have the appearance of one continuous surface of diamonds. The diamonds are usually round and set very close together. The gems are held in place by small beads of the setting metal, which are basically invisible to the naked eye – making the ring glassine with ultimate diamond sparkle.
