Last week we were delighted with the finish of this stunning pear shape diamond engagement ring. The striking pear shaped centre diamond is beautifully held in place with a traditional claw setting, allowing maximum light to pass through the stone for ultimate brilliance and sparkle. The diamond is mounted on a flat shaped band and the shoulders are set with beautiful princess cut diamonds. The diamonds are also channel set on the shoulders so there’s no gaps in between the stones. We made the ring in 18ct white gold at our work shop in Manchester, using the lost wax casting process. This is basically where the design of the ring is printed into a 3D wax model to create a mould for casting into the metal. Although the pear shaped diamond looks massive on this particular ring, smaller sized diamonds will also look just as good, What’s also great about this style of ring is the raised shank allows standard shaped wedding rings to fit perfectly against without any gaps in between the two rings. If you like this style of ring or want something similar, we can source any size and quality of diamond. If the design is slightly different and not on our website, our designer can work with you to create a bespoke engagement ring.
