On February 6th, Sotheby’s New York auction house is set to host their Important Jewels auction – showcasing some of the most stunning diamond and gem set jewellery. Like all their sales there is a mixture of pieces that will appeal to all types of people, but in today’s post we’re going to share some of the top lots.
A Diamond and Emerald Bangle
This Striking, unique bangle is set to sell for an estimate of $80,000 to $120,000 at auction. The snake like bracelet is set with a mixture of diamonds and emeralds and combines both 18ct yellow gold and platinum.
Diamond Dangle Earrings
These stunning, modern looking diamond earrings are set with different sized round brilliant cut diamonds that dangle down like a drop pendant. All six of the diamonds on each earring are beautifully held in 18ct white gold rub over settings. The earrings are estimated to sell anywhere from $200,000 to $300,000.
Diamond, Emerald and Pearl Brooch
This stunning brooch features a vintage design with a mixture of Diamonds, Emeralds and Pearls. The piece has an estimated sales price of $15,000 to $20,000.
Stunning Pear Shaped Diamond Ring
This show stopping, huge pear-shaped diamond ring has been beautifully set in 18ct white gold and two smaller pear-shaped diamonds set on the side.
