In May this year Paul McCartney announce his engagement to the American heiress Nancy Shevell and the couple now plan an intimate wedding this weekend. The couple flew back to the UK last week from New York to finalise the wedding plans for their reportedly small wedding at the Beatles stars Sussex farmhouse with just close friends and family. A source said that the couple “are very excited and almost everything is in place. Friends and family have been put on standby.” This week the Sussex farm house has had deliveries of chairs, Champaign flutes and more ready for the quiet wedding this weekend. The couple who live between the UK and New York have compromised on their wedding location as they plan to have the ceremony y in the UK and then fly back To NYC to celebrate the wedding with close America pals. This will be Paul’s third marriage, after his famous divorce in 2008 with ex model - Heather Mills and his first marriage to his sweetheart, Linda McCartney in 1969, with whom he had three children and adopted Linda’s daughter Heather. The New Yorker Nancy Shevell is also a divorcee after her first marriage. The couple have already selected their wedding rings to go with Nancy’s 5 carat vintage engagement ring and are both frilled to be tying the knot this weekend. 
Paul McCartney’s second marriage was to ex model Heather Mills in 2002, who is significantly younger then McCartney. Paul met Heather at a charity event in London in 1999. Paul proposed to Heather in July on 2001 with a £13,281 diamond a sa pphire engagement ring. The wedding reportedly cost £2.1 million and took place in the 1,000-acer estate - Castle Leslie in Ireland. Guests at the w edding included Beatle band mate Ringo Star, pop sensation Twiggy, Sir Elton John, Jools Holland and Paul’s four children. During their married life the couple had a daughter together – Beatrice McCartney. Their marriage ended in 2006 after a mutual agreement to separate. The divorce was finally resolved in 2008, and Heather received a settlement of 23.7 million – one of the most expensive divorce settlements in history. 
Paul’s first marriage was to the love of his life and the late Linda McCartney. Their marriage was one of the entertainment and celebrity industries longest and most successful marriages. Paul met Linda in 1967 in Lon don, telling the world it was love at first site. The night the pair met was at a club in London, which they called their first date together. It wasn’t till a year later the couple met up again and their relationship began. Paul and Linda married in 1969 in a Register Office in Westminster, London, Linda’s daughter Heather from a previous relationship attended the wedding. Sadly in 1998 Linda passed away leaving Paul heart-broken. We are hoping that Paul’s marriage to Nancy Shevell goes well this weekend and they have a happy marriage life together.
