Diamonds, Sapphires and Rubies of the Jewells For Hope Collection
A collection of fine diamond and gem stone jewels of Mrs Lilly Safra are set to go on sale at Christies Geneva auction later this month. The proceeds of the sale wil be donated to 20 charitable institutions. Mrs Lilly Safra was a philanthropists of art, who over time collected a seventy piece rare collection of fine jewels comprising the best quality and styles from the late 18th century to modern times. The collection includes diamonds, sapphires and rubies all weighing over 30 carats set in various jewellery pieces.

A unique, art deco diamond and sapphire bangle designed in 1941. The bangle has an estimated sale price of up to $120.000 (£74.303).
A diamond and emerald necklace that was originally a Cartier design in 1906, estimated to sell for $800.000 (£495.356).
A vibrant 31.21 carat emerald step cut Burmese sapphire and diamond ring, estimated to sell for $550.000 (£340.557).

A 34.05 carat emerald cut diamond set on a ring. The diamond is internally flawless and has a diamond colour grade D.
A stunning pair of pear-shaped diamond earrings beautifully held in 6-claw stud earring settings. The diamonds weigh 19.16caras and 19.43 carats.
A striking 32.08 carats cushion cut Burmese ruby and diamond ring set in a double claw, 18 carat yellow gold setting.
An oval-shaped Colombian emerald, pearl and diamond ring made in 1988, estimated to sell for $700.000 (£433.437).
A platinum mesh evening bag set with diamonds and rubies expected to sell for $30,207 (£18,704)
A pair of pavé set ruby, sapphire and diamond clips in a flower design. The clips include a cushion cut blue sapphire weighing 23.80 carats and a cushion cut yellow sapphire weighing 21.40 carats.
