Kate lent her breath taking, beautiful Alexander McQueen wedding dress to Buckingham Palace to be used as the main display for the 2011 summer opening of the palace to the general public, along with her wedding cake, shoes, tiara, bouquet and jewellery she wore on the day. It the time the wedding dress was on display the palace raised more than £9.7 million hrough visitor tickets.
Kate will donate the money from her wedding dress to her charities
Kate won’t be pocketing the money for herself or putting it towards her ever popular outfits, according to Marie Clarie, Kate will be donating all the money to her charities.
