The main diamond is set in a contemporary way, where the setting sits right on the shank, with no bridge in between. To add more dazzle to this stunning ring, the shoulders are cut down set with small round brilliant cut diamonds half way around the band. Cut Down set diamonds are perfect for slim bands, unlike other setting types there is no visible strip of metal on either side of the stones. So when you look at the ring from a side angle, you can see the sides of the diamonds. 
The round brilliant cut centre stone is beautifully held in a four claw rose gold setting. Just a little under a carat, the diamond weights 0.70 points of a carat, has a colour grade F and a clarity grade SI1. The diamonds on the shoulder weigh a total of 0.26cts. Although this is not your classic platinum or white gold engagement ring, the rose gold and modern setting create a striking look.
