Creating a Bespoke Diamond or Gem Stone Ring and Engagement Ring

Designing and making a bespoke jewellery piece is a meaningful way to bring together all your ideas, allowing you to create your perfect ring. The first step in creating a bespoke ring is to determine the style and design of the ring. Some clients come to us with designs they have seen and want to re-produce or incorporate parts into the ring and some want to create something completely new, using different precious metals and a mixture of gem stones and diamonds. If you are using diamonds or gem stones like Sapphire, Topaz or Ruby we will help you select the one you want with the correct shape, carat weight, colour and clarity. Our designer will then create a rendered image of the ring design on the computer using CAD, so you can visualise how the ring will look before its made. The next step is for us to print the ring setting from the computer into a 3D wax model and then cast into the type of metal the customer wanted. The final step is for our goldsmith to polish the ring and set the stones. To maximise the most out of your budget, when discussing the design we can adjust the weight of metal and the quality and size of the stones used to keep costs down.

Remodelling Old Stones

Remodelling is perfect if you want to refresh your jewellery, but don’t want to spend big money. For instance if you have a diamond or gemstone set in a piece of jewellery you no longer wear, we can work with you to remodel and set the stones into a completely new design of ring.
