A Pound Moment For the Nation – Kate Middleton is Expecting her first Baby

After months of speculation, it’s the news we’ve been waiting to hear – The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their first royal baby. The pregnancy was confirmed yesterday, when a spokesman for St James’ Palace announced the news in a statement - "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby." When the news was announced, Kate was also admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in central London due to having acute morning sickness, known as hyperemesis Gravidarum. Apparently the Duchess is around eight weeks pregnant, and wanted to save the happy news until Christmas day, but had no option but to announce the pregnancy after she was admitted to hospital. Since yesterday, there have been all sorts of discussions and bets about the baby’s sex and name. Some of the names betters have put their money on is Victoria, Mary, Matilda Frances, George and Edmund. There has even been a bet for the babies hair colour. Let us know what you think the baby will be called, or names you would pick for a royal baby.
