We made the piece as a diamond wedding ring for a customer, who wanted it to match the look of her engagement ring. The ring features a row of 11 channel set princess cut diamond in the centre of the thick platinum band. In total the diamonds weigh 0.53cts and have a high quality cut to allow maximum sparkle. 
The channel setting was originally designed for the shoulders of a solitaire engagement ring. The diamonds are basically placed into a metal channel, and flow side by side in a continuous row. Princess cut diamonds are the perfect shaped stone for this style of setting as there straight lines leave no gaps in between - creating the illusion that the ring is set with one long continuous row of diamonds.
