A Tribute to Steve Jobs: Founder of Apple

Steve Jobs, the former CEO and founder of Apple has sadly died. Fans of Apple around the world have gathered to pay tribute to the IT industry’s guru and icon, leaving bouquets and messages outside Apple stores. During his careers, Steve Jobs made a massive impact on transforming the computing, mobile phone and music industry. In the 70s Steve Jobs co-founded Apple along with Steve Woziak and Ronald Wayne. In 1985, Jobs left Apple due to Disagreements with John Sculley, Apples CEO at the time. In 1986 Jobs brought The Graphics Group, later known as Pixar. After years of non-profit making, Pixar Image Computer teamed with Disney to produce a number of successful computer animated feature films. In the late 90s Steve eventually returned to Apple to become the CEO. The company’s sales increased dramatically when Jobs launched the IMac and various other new products. Since the introduction of new product Apple worked hard on delivering effective branding and appealing designs. Steve Jobs then went on to branch Apple out into different markets, with the introduction of new Innovative products, such as the IPod, I phone and the IPad, which have drastically changed how people consume digital content. Microsoft chairman, Bill Gates released a statement, paying tribute to Steve Jobs, saying “I’m truly saddened to learn of Steve Jobs Death”. Bill Gates also stated “Steve and I first met nearly 30 years ago and have been colleagues, competitors and friends over the course of more than half our lives. For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it’s been a great honour” Steve Jobs will be remembered as the guy who innovated and changed the consumption, design and functionality of technology - he made the ugly world of technology beautiful.
