To celebrate the arrival of their first born daughter Ivy Blue Carter, Beyoncé and Jay-Z bought each other ‘push presents’ in the form of large diamond and sapphire rings.
Recently – especially in the celebrity world – there has been a trend of giving ‘push presents’ to mothers from their partners, after they have given birth as a token of thanks to all the pain she went through during the birth.
But why did Jay-Z receive one? Well, Beyonce purchased her husband one as a token to say thank you for being so supportive through her pregnancy and birth of their daughter.

Beyonce’s ring from Jay-Z features a cushion cut blue sapphire that appears to be in a halo setting, which accentuates its sparkle. The stone looks to be of the highest quality, which means that it could be worth as much as $1 million.
Jay-Z’s ring from Beyonce features a huge blue sapphire, set in platinum and has an estimated value of $400,000.
As both of the rings are blue, this no doubt symbolises the name of their daughter, Blue Ivy. Adding to the sentimental nature of the rings, Jay-Z’s favourite colour is also reportedly blue.

Marc Anthony gifted Jennifer Lopez an incredible pair of earrings and a canary diamond ring, worth $2.5 million (£1.9 million) after they welcomed twins Max and Emme on 22nd February 2008. Another impressive jewellery push present is the $120k diamond and emerald cross pendant that Nicole Kidman received from Keith Urban in 2010.
Gearing things up a notch, iconic punk chick, P!nk, received her very own motorcycle from hubby Carey Hart in 2017. The singer gave birth to her and Carey’s second child – a son called Jameson – on Boxing Day 2016, and her caption on Instagram labelled the bike, which Carey reportedly made himself, a ‘push present’.
