Engagement Ring Designs with WedFit Mount and Tapered Diamond Shoulders
We’ve recently added some new engagement ring designs to our online collection with unique diamond set tapered shoulders and Wedfit mounts. Wedfit mounts have become a popular choice for our customers as they are designed to perfectly fit against standard wedding ring shapes with no gaps in between. Our Wedfit mounts are designed with a bridge on the shank that extends the height of the 4-claw setting where the diamond sits so the wedding ring fits perfectly against the band of the engagement ring. Our Wedfit mounts have been designed to give an engagement and wedding ring set an exclusive elegant look which is usually associated with much more expensive designer engagement rings. To add more elegance to our unique Wedfit mounts we have designed this range with elegant tapered shoulders each pavé set with small round brilliant cut diamonds, graduating in size as the shoulders taper inwards.
To achieve a Pavé setting many diamonds 0.20 ct or smaller are set into tapered holes in a metal surface, nestled close to the melee stones next to them. Pavé creates an appearance of uninterrupted diamonds in the band, which in turn can make the centre stone look larger.

Round diamond engagement ring with tapered diamond set shoulders
One of the most popular diamond cuts for engagement rings is round brilliant. Round brilliant-cut diamonds work in an endless number of setting styles, but if you're looking for an extra sparkle, a ring with tapered diamond set shoulders will definitely add a 'wow factor'.
Emerald cut diamond engagement ring with tapered diamond set shoulders
An emerald cut diamond will highlight clarity better than any of the other cuts. Emerald cuts are becoming an increasingly popular style thanks to the beauty and precision they add to a ring. The emerald cut represents a strong and bold personality that isn't afraid to stand out.
Pear shaped diamond engagement ring with tapered diamond set shoulders
Until recently, the pear cut for diamond has never been one of the most popular shapes for centre stones on wedding and engagement rings. It is a very unique shape which offers a different take on the more classical engagement ring styles like the round brilliant or the princess cut. Since the launch of Netflix period drama, Bridgerton, classic pear shaped diamonds have soared in popularity, as fans were swept away by the beauty of the jewels from the Regency era.
Marquise shaped engagement ring with tapered diamond set shoulders
While the round and princess diamond cuts are always in style, the marquise can fluctuate in popularity, however this year it's more popular than ever before. Although the marquise cut was considered old fashion for a while, today it's back in style and graces the fingers of many celebrities.
