It was reported that Australian cricket star Shane Warne popped the question to Liz Hurley when the couple were sailing the Spanish Islands on James Packers’s multimillion pound yacht. A source close to Shane was said to have told Australia Magazine - New Idea that the couple were happily engaged and the proposal was a “beautiful moment”. Today Liz hit back at the allegations on twitter making it clear that the reporters were wrong about her engagement to Shane. She Stated - “When will talentless journalists stop using unattributed 'quotes'? A lazy & transparently obvious device to avoid actually doing any work.” A few minutes later she then stated – “Why bother actually investigating anything? Just sit at your desk & make up 'friends' to say anything that suits your silly stories?” It was clear by Liz’s twitter update that she was upset by such rumours and invasions into her relationship with the Australian cricketer. Shanes manager James Erskin also hit back at the clams the magazine made, stating on his twitter – "The story is complete and utter nonsense. It's b******s, there's no truth in it," If these allegations spur Shane to pop the question to Liz, we are hoping that he comes to Steven Stone for a beautiful, top of the range engagement ring!
