Man Jailed for Bluewater Jewellery Shop £50,000 Raid.

A man has been jailed for five years for the robbery of £50, 000 worth of jewellery in Blue water shopping centre in Kent. David Mays, 29 was part of a South London Gang and was been convicted at Maidstone Crown Court this week for the robbery of the Kent jewellery shop, after pleading guilty. Police stated that the gang used sledge hammers to break into the shop in Bluewater shopping centre and threatened the security guard before the robbery of £50, 000 worth of jewellery. David Mays was arrested shortly after the raid took place and the gang’s vehicle, containing the stolen jewellery was recovered by officers in Joydens Wood area of Dartford in Kent. The other gang members involved in the raid remain at large, while police carry out an investigation. The vehicle contained a mixture of diamond rings, engagement rings, diamond pendants and more that held the value of £50,000.
