Richard Branson pledges the Fire on Luxurious Island wont Stop his Daughters Wedding.
Richard Branson stated that the fire that took place on his luxurious, private island in the Caribbean will not stop his daughter wedding on the island, despite the fire destroying his home there. Richards daughter, Holly Branson 29 and her shipbroker fiancé Freddie Andrews wedding is due to take place on the island this December. It is uncertain whether the house and surrounding areas ruined by the fire on Necker Island will be rebuilt in time, after the island was struck by lightning in the tropical storm. Richard Branson stated that work on the island will begin as soon as possible ready in time for his daughter’s wedding to take place on the Island in December. Richard and his wife Joan were married on the Island and both want their daughter Holly to get married there too. Richard declared that the wedding wills defiantly happen even if the guests are in tents on the beach. In the early hours of last Monday morning Richards Island was struck by lightning during a tropical storm, destroying parts of the Island and Richards eight-bedroomed Great House. Kate Winslet and her two children escaped from the fire along with Sir Richards 90 year old mother, wife Joan and son Sam. Richard stated that” There's a lot of damage but we'll create something even more special out of the ruins” It’s been reported that Holly’s wedding guests will include Kate Middleton, a close friend of Branson’s daughter and Prince William.
