This is the second favourite style when it comes to engagement rings. The ring is like a solitaire, but has diamonds set on the shoulders for extra dazzle. The diamonds can be pavé set, cut down set or channel set depending on your own personal preferences. Number 3 – The Fabulous Halo Diamond Setting 
With this style the centre diamond is surrounded by a border of small diamonds and the shoulders of the band are also set with small diamonds. This has recently become popular and takes inspiration from the vintage, 1920s art deco period. Number 4 – The Cross Over Style This is a modern style of engagement ring features the diamond set in a cross over style band. The ring is designed to fit with a matching shape wedding ring.
