Yesterday it emerged that the 20.5 carat, emerald cut diamond engagement ring, supposedly given to Kim by Kris was in fact purchased by Kim back in 2007 when she was dating Reggie Bush. Kim’s former representative Jonathon Jaxson announced, "The ring was a gift to her-self." According to Jonathon Kim Kardashian was pushing for fame and decided to play games with the paparazzi. She told the paparazzi her whereabouts and went to her favourite jewellers in Beverly Hills to purchase a ring. The ring was identical to her recent engagement ring. Kim wanted to be in the lime light, pretending she was engaged to her boyfriend at the time Reggie Bush.
