Will Kate Middleton Receive More of Diana’s Jewels
It’s soon approaching to be the first wedding anniversary for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who married last April. Since the royal couple announced their engagement, Prince William has given Kate some of his mother, Princess Diana’s jewels, including her sapphire and diamond engagement ring and her sapphire and diamond earrings, which Kate is regularly seen wearing. We're wondering if the Duchess might receive more of Diana’s diamonds and jewells as a gift from William for her wedding anniversary . Maybe William will give Kate Princess Diana’s Swan Lake Diamond – a platinum South Sea pearl and diamond necklace, once custom made for Diana by Gerrards. Kate might receive Lady Diana’s Art Deco emerald and diamond choker, she wore in 1982 to a charity concert. The choker was a gift from the Queen to Diana, originally belonging to Queen Mary. Diana also wore an emerald cut aquamarine ring when she visited Australia and at the preview reception for the Christies Auction of her gowns in London. The emerald cut aquamarine weighs 24 carats and is flanked by two diamonds. The Duchess might even receive the rings she wore before she was given her sapphire and diamond engagement ring from Prince Charles. One ring was a cartier her parents gave her on her 18th. The ring has three yellow gold bands, which she wore in her left little finger. The other ring is a band of round diamonds set in white gold.
