The tourmaline comes in a wide array of colours including red, yellow, blue, green, colourless and black varieties. Very often, more than one colour can be seen in a single tourmaline crystal.

The green Tourmaline is regarded to as the classical tourmaline, although there is still a large spectrum of colours within the green tourmalines.

Some of them are very pale, others are extremely dark and the colour can only be determined when the stone is held against the light. Green tourmalines can also be found in a dark blue-green colour, which are some of the most sought-after.
