The beryl collection of stones is best known for its famous gem varieties, such as Emerald and Aquamarine. There is however an array of gems included in this collection, one of them being the Golden Beryl.
Golden Beryls can range in colours varying from faint yellow to deep gold. The term “golden beryl” can sometimes be connected to heliodor, but a true golden beryl refers to pure yellow shades, where heliodor refers to a green-yellow shade.
Golden Beryls have very few flaws unlike the Emeralds. The largest cut Golden Beryl is a flawless 2054 carat stone displayed in the Hall of Gems in Washington, D.C.
Origin: Brazil, Siberia, East Africa, Afghanistan and United States
