Choosing a venue
An extraordinary marriage should begin in an extraordinary location - your venue has to have a soul and you should follow your heart. What you see as you walk around and the people you meet should leave you coming away feeling that you can entrust them with helping you create an unforgettable day.
Be flexible with your dates as venues can be fully booked as much as a year in advance, but don’t just pick the first venue you see. Some venues only work with specific suppliers such as caterers, so if you have specific suppliers in mind you need to check if they can work with your venue - wedding fairs are great for finding lots of suppliers and the venues they work with. Ask about any restrictions and choose the one that made you feel most special and at home.
Finally, think about exclusivity. At Dorfold we only have one event on at any time but at other venues exclusive use comes at an additional cost, so it is something to consider when you make your final decision.
