All about the Pavé Diamond Setting

One of the most beloved diamond engagement ring setting styles is the Pavé Diamond Setting. At Steven Stone we’re big fans of this setting style and have new designs coming soon to our jewellery range.

What is the Pavé Setting?

Like its French name suggests the setting style resembles a pavement of diamonds placed so closely together that no metal shows like “diamonds in pave”. The setting style is also known as the “invisible setting” as it’s the only setting that shows no metal where the stones are placed. The stones appear to float in symmetrical lines that cover the entire surface of the metal. Generally round brilliant cut diamonds are used for this setting type as they provide the most sparkle to look like one dazzling Pavé of diamonds. Take a look at two of our favorite styles of two featuring simple yet classic designs - a must have in your jewellery collection.
